One to One Mentoring
One-to-one mentoring days can be booked to allow colleagues starting out in implant dentistry to treat their own patients in a state-of-the-art, fully equipped practice with personal guidance and advice and full assistance backup. Just bring your patient - we will provide the rest.
I will be happy to go through prosthetic and surgical treatment planning prior to any mentoring days to ensure that you receive the maximum benefits from your time here.
A day of mentoring includes:
- Unrestricted one-to-one access to me for half day (9.00 -12.30 or 1.30-5.00) or full day (9.00 – 5.00) whilst you operate. The objective is for you to obtain experience in a safe environment and I will provide as little or as much assistance as is needed. I will be available to intercede if I am required.
- All disposables for up to a maximum of four patients a day (more complex cases I would recommend no more than 2 - 3 a day)
- All nursing assistance and instrument processing
- Photography and / or video of your cases given to you on a CD or DVD or memory stick
Fees for 2010
£150 per hour for treatment planning (first hour is free for colleagues starting with mentoring)
£1,500 for morning or afternoon session (maximum two patients)
£2,800 for full day (maximum four patients)
All implantable materials including implant hardware, bone augmentation material and membranes will be charged for at cost.
Payments for the mentoring day will be requested in advance of the working session or day. Implantable materials will be invoiced afterwards.
